Ian Alexander, Team Leader at Natural England, to give talk at Purbeck & Poole AGM, 9th Sept

The only constant in life is change, having said that, we can seek to control and influence change. Change is happening in Dorset and particularly in our vulnerable area. Your committee wants you to help inform and shape our views on the protection of the health and wellbeing of our valued countryside, coastal areas and communities.

The Purbeck and Poole CPRE Group AGM will be held at 7:00 pm in Wareham Parish Hall on Wednesday the 9th September 2015. Complimentary cheese and wine will be provided on the night. Your guests will also be welcome.

We are delighted that Mr Ian Alexander, Team Leader at Natural England, for Dorset Heaths, Harbours and Coast, has kindly agreed to talk about “change” in the countryside and Natural England. Including how it evolved and how it works now; as a prelude to opening up a discussion about how we most effectively ‘protect rural England’. This is an opportunity not to be missed.

There is no charge for this open event but donations towards our expenses will be gratefully received. Please let me know if you are planning to come.

Your CPRE Group is not often able to arrange a meeting of local Members and their guests, so I do hope that you can come and help protect this part of England.

Gerald Rigler, Chairman, Purbeck and Poole CPRE

We would love to receive your feedback
